New Member Bonus Draw
WHO CAN ENTER: This Contest is open to all legal Canadian and United States residents who are 14 or older on February 1, 2012 and are active members of the i-Say Panel, with the exception of employees of IPSOS-REID CORPORATION and Ipsos Insight, its divisions, subsidiaries and affiliates, their respective agencies, and members of their respective immediate families and/or persons with whom any of the foregoing are domiciled.
CONTEST PERIOD: This Draw Contest starts on February 1, 2012 at 00:01 EST. Eastern Standard Time (EST) and closes on February 29, 2012 at 24:00 EST.
HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. All new members of Ipsos i-Say Panel for the month of September who complete the first “Getting to Know You” survey and remain active members by the end of the contest period, will be automatically entered into this contest. Limit one entry per new member.
To enter without completing the survey(s), please write your primary e-mail address (if applicable), along with your full name, mailing address, date of birth and phone number on a 3x5 index card and mail it to: Ipsos America, Inc., i-Say Monthly Recruit Sweepstakes, 160 Bloor St. East, Toronto, Ontario Canada M4W1B9, to be received on or before the Contest/sweepstakes close date.
RANDOM DRAW: Draw: One (1) entry from Canada and the United States will be selected in a random draw from among all eligible entries received. Draw will be conducted on or about March 15, 2012 at 14:00 EST (Eastern Standard Time).
In Canada, in order to be declared a winner, selected entrant must first correctly answer an un-aided time limited mathematical skill-testing question, to be administered by e-mail, and have his/her entry verified by Ipsos. Ipsos Reid Corporation reserves the right to require proof of age and jurisdiction of residence prior to awarding any prize.
If a minor is selected, the parent or legal guardian of the selected entrant must sign an affidavit, in order for their child to be declared the winner. The prize will be issued in the parent or legal guardian’s name.
PRIZE: There is one (1) prize available to be won, consisting of $1,000 cheque/check. The odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: Selected entrants will be notified via e-mail/phone within 48 hours of the draw. Selected entrants will be required to acknowledge by phone or in writing, receipt of notification of eligibility for prize and to arrange for a mutually convenient day and time to administer a time limited mathematical skill-testing question. If no response is obtained within 10 days of notification, the prize(s) will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner(s) in a random draw selected by computer from the remaining eligible entries. Prize(s) will be delivered by mail within 60 days of correctly answering the mathematical skill-testing question and upon receipt of a signed waiver.
GENERAL: IPSOS-REID CORPORATION and Ipsos Insight are not responsible for any costs associated with claiming any prize. The winner(s) is solely responsible for the reporting and payment of any and all taxes, if any, that may result in claiming a prize in this Contest.
Prize(s) must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions. IPSOS-REID CORPORATION and Ipsos Insight shall bear no responsibility whatsoever for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind that result from acceptance, possession and/or use of any prize.
IPSOS-REID CORPORATION and Ipsos Insight are not responsible for technical or computer errors, or for late, lost, illegible, damaged, postage due, misdirected, misidentified or incomplete survey. Surveys in any way tampered with, forged, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, photocopied or mechanically reproduced, or submitted by or through fraudulent means, may be disqualified, in the sole discretion of IPSOS-REID CORPORATION and Ipsos Insight. This includes any survey that does not comply with these Contest Rules in any respect.
Decisions of IPSOS-REID CORPORATION and Ipsos Insight are final on all matters of fact, interpretation, eligibility, procedure and fulfillment in respect to this Contest. IPSOS-REID CORPORATION and Ipsos Insight reserves the right at any time to withdraw this Contest or to modify, amend, or supplement these rules, in its sole discretion.
By participating in these Contests, the winner(s) consent to the use by IPSOS-REID CORPORATION and Ipsos Insight, of their name, hometown, age, and photograph for any lawful purpose, without further permission or compensation, except where prohibited by law. The winner(s) agrees to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules, and understands that the decisions of the Contest Sponsor are final in all respects.

In Canada, with respect to Quebec residents, any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
This Contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial, State and local laws.
